I want to speak to everyone right now who has given up or is the verge of giving up. Easter is coming. The power of God lives within us and among us. The same power that gave Christ victory over military domination, economic exploitation, religious and political corruption, and even the grave itself, lives in us.
The stories of Lent, and of Advent too for that matter, are the stories of people who did not give into their environment. They did not give into their fears. They did not give into their bitterness. The stories of Lent and of Advent, are stories of perseverance, of holding onto Hope in the most hopeless situations.
“The one who was said to be barren has conceived.” I don’t care what the world says about you. God says it’s not too late. Don’t give up.
