Love is patient, love is kind. We should be known for our patience and kindness.
We do not envy. Rather we are genuinely happy to see others thrive and succeed. We are humble about and grateful for our accomplishments and blessings.
As we seek our own wellbeing, we never seek to do so at the expense of others. We seek the wellbeing of others at all times.
We always seek to honor others and never dishonor. We don’t dishonor others.
We are not easily angered. We let got of grievance and bitterness. We take no delight in anyone’s suffering.
We protect. We hope. We always perseveres. We live our lives always trusting in the goodness of God.
We pray that the Spirit of God living within and among us makes our love look like this.
