Be Faithful To The Process
“When he saw them, he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were made clean.” -Luke 17:14
Wouldn’t it have been nice if these ten people who had suffered for so long, struggled with so much, been through so much- wouldn’t it have been nice if they had healed and restored on the spot, that same moment?
I’m not going to put any limits on what God can do- but normally our healing, restoration, growth and transformation are not instantaneous one time events.
To experience these they had to make the mental and physical journey and submit to the societal process of being deemed fit by the priest.
Their healing didn’t happen until they put in the work. They had to have faith enough to believe that their healing was on the other side of the process.
Their being restored in the eyes of their society depended on their being faithful to fulfill those expectations as well. (Think licenses, certificates, and certification.)
Healing is a process. Restoration is a process. Deliverance is a process. Be faithful to the process.
