When we feel like God is angry…
When we feel like we must be going through some kind of punishment or divine retribution…
When we feel forsaken, abandoned or alone…
Do as the ancient psalmist did. Trust in the power of God’s love to restore and deliver us- all of us.
Pray as they prayed: “Restore us, O God of hosts; let your face shine, that we may be saved.” And trust God to answer.
The long shadows of our anger and fear, remorse and regret, guilt and shame will always disappear in the light of God’s love.
God’s loving face will shine upon us, and we will be saved.
