Say Amen And Get To Work

God has given us a vision of the world as it should be, a world filled with peace, and wellbeing for all, a world free of violence, exploitation, and injustice, a world where we are free to grow and develop every gift God has given us.
Just as God has made us, humanity, caretakers of the world as it is now, God has called us to be co-laborers in creating the world as it should be. The work is fulfilling, but it isn’t easy. As a result, we are tempted to pullback, fallback, and ease up.
However, as the Apostle Paul encourages, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
After we bow our heads to pray, we must say amen and get to work.
Dear God, give us the faith, strength, and courage to do this work.
