Loving God,
Your love is not a prize we win.
It is not a reward we deserve.
Your love never ceases.
It never fails.
It is consistent.
Persistent.
Relentless.
So form that love in us.
When we are tempted to make love transactional,
when we withhold care until someone proves worthy,
teach us another way.
Give us wisdom to hold boundaries without hardening our hearts.
Give us courage to name harm without becoming consumed by resentment.
Give us mercy that refuses to retaliate.
Help us pray instead of curse.
Help us bless instead of strike back.
Help us reflect Your heart — even when it costs us something.
