When the noise around us is loud and the voices are hard to sort through, how do we know what to listen to?
The gospel writer assures us that we already know the voice when we hear it.
“and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.” (from John 10:4)
We know the voice that recognizes us and finds us where we are.
We know the voice that calls us together and embraces us as its own.
We know the voice that guides us through the deepest valleys and brings us to safety.
We know the voice of love.
